About Me

{Bellísima}:

Spanish for “most beautiful”

I want women to see themselves as God’s beautiful creation, inside and out.

My name is Araceli, but everyone calls me Celi.  I was born in Mexico but grew up in the United States.

As a bi-cultural woman, I have often struggled to find my identity and sense of belonging. Though I am flawed, Christ’s perfect relationship with me has given me a new sense of myself and a higher purpose.

On this blog, I will share some of my struggles and insights, and along with God’s Word, my prayer is that what I share with you will:

1) give you a sense of belonging

2) encourage you to be your most beautiful self in Christ.

I am a mom, a wife, a teacher, a writer and speaker, and a chocolate-loving, book-devouring fashionista.

My varied experiences, interests and love for my husband and family inspire me to write about what I know. I will share what I’ve learned with you to encourage you in your many roles and interests, too. I’m sure we’ll have a lot in common.

As a shy young girl, often fashion was my only form of creative self-expression.  I will share many inexpensive beauty and fashion tips with you here.  It’s going to be a blast to play dress-up together!

I invite you to come along on this journey with me as we discover who we were meant to be:

{Bellísima}
